BEING ON THE WINNING SIDE WITH GOD WHO WE CAN COUNT ON!!
And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, that the waters were dried up from the earth.  Genesis 8:13

HEBREWS 11:1-7  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”

John 14.6DON’S COMMENTS :     How far do you trust God?  How far do I trust God?   Would we trust Him with our lives and the lives of our families?  Is it easier to trust Him with our salvation than to trust Him with our physical lives?   What if we had to make a choice to deny Him or profess Him at cost of our jobs or friends or even our lives?  Christians all over the world are facing just that.  China is experiencing what is becoming the largest revival in history in a location where being Christian comes at great sacrifice.  Will that happen in dominant Muslim countries because of great persecution too?  Persecution and revival historically have gone hand in hand.  God historically is faithful but does require we both accept His chastisement and His Will.  The early Christians did trust Him with their lives and their family’s lives.  They trusted Christ enough to see their families suffer and die and then themselves rather than deny their Lord.  How about you and me?  How far do we trust Him?  I pray we will never face such persecution, but so want to be ready and able to do so if called upon to suffer in that way.  We think we suffer greatly when face physical pain and sickness from disease or when face family or financial problems, but we don’t have to look far to realize our problems are dwarfed by problems of others.   I am reading about the huge revival unfolding and waves of oriental Christians spreading across China and into India along with nearby countries and spreading west targeting the 10th to 40th parallel until they reach Jerusalem.  Their goal is to win every Muslim country between China and Jerusalem to Christ, including China. They know Christ’s return and end times are linked to spreading the Gospel to every corner of the world.  Their hunger for souls and love for Christ, including their great Faith in Him, is gaining enough traction to be noticable and becoming even more noticeable.  China is on the verge of becoming the greatest center of revival in history and the greatest source of missionaries in history too.  It was the United States for a time and still should be.  We should be equipping and helping the China church and not sitting back watching like a baseball fan rooting for our team.  So, we need to make them and their vision a focus of our daily prayers and also seek that same passion in our own walk with Christ.  They are putting us to shame and exposing our Laodicean tendancies.  Being safe and secure and comfortable are what we all work for and want, but what if God is preparing us to count the cost and become His witnesses too?   Let’s pray about that!!  Matthew 24:10-14: …   10“At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. 11“Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12“Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13“But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. 14“This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.   Aren’t these verses clearly describing the time we are living in?  Well, if we want Him to return, we should be praying for those preaching the Good News of the Gospel and supporting them and even sharing in the work too…

  1. God created mathematics, physics, biology and art . So it is elementary for him to know the numbers of hairs on our heads. ( I think I heard that blondes and redheads have more than brunettes do 🙂 )
I was reminded of a wonderful woman who put not only her own life but the life of her toddler and unborn baby in the Lord’s hands when she was thrown in prison in Sudan in 2014… for refusing to renounce Christ.
I hope and pray that I would hold fast to Jesus if my faith was ever tested like this. Life would not be worth living if I denied Him, though I know that He would forgive me as He forgave his friend Peter. He understands our weakness. But I would like to never have to ask forgiveness for that particular failure.
