Going With The Flow

Isaiah-40.11

The Lord is my shepherd. . . . He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.  Psalm 23:1-2

Recommended Reading: ISAIAH 40:11 See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm.See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.11 He tends his flock like a shepherd  He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.”

COMMENTS: Satan has a skillful but deceptive way of fooling the world to thinking he is right and God is wrong and impotent.  Unwilling or unable to defeat satan or stop him.  BUT GOD IS STILL ON HIS THRONE AND WARNS US IN HIS WORD THAT ONE DAY SOON CHRIST WILL RETURN TO BIND SATAN, JUDGE THE WORLD, AND RESTORE THE WORLD TO  THE PERFEC T PLACE HE CREATED AND RULE OVER IT.  SATAN WILL BE JUDGED ALONG WITH HIS DEMONS AND ALL WHO FOLLOWED HIM.

James 4:6 says that God gives grace to the humble but resists the proud. Pride is the sin that caused Lucifer to descend from favor and be rejected from heaven along with angels who followed him.  Pride is the sin that creates a barrier between God and humans,       which opens those so inflicted to satan’s other temptations and evil influence.  The humble are more open and willing to accept God’s Grace, God’s mercy, and God’s Spirit.  The humble are more Christ-like and more compassionate toward others.  The humble have a more servant attitude and realize their own failings and weaknesses and benefits of seeking and receiving God’s help to overcome them.

When life gets challenging, check to see if you are following God or not. Even if He leads us into a storm, as long as He is there we can be at rest (Mark 4:37-41).
